What type of roofing materials do you use?

There are many types of residential roofing materials on the market. JTC is factory certified by GAF and Owens Corning, two of the largest roofing manufacturers in the country. Our team members would be happy to discuss all of the options available and assist you in choosing the right one for your home.

How long does replacing a roof typically take?

There is no set answer here. All roofs are different, the larger and more complex the job, the longer it takes. As a rule of thumb, most homes take no more than 2 or 3 days.

How can we get an estimate?

Do we have to be out of the house when you are replacing the roof?

There is no need to leave your home in most cases but if you would prefer to be out of the home to escape any noise or disruption then that is perfectly fine as well.

How do you calculate the number of shingles I will need for my roof?

JTC can physically measure your roof or use a satellite measuring app to determine what materials are needed.

Why is there discoloring in my roof?

Over time a roof can fade, but most discoloration is due to algae growing on the shingles. Newer shingles are usually treated to help slow the growth of this algae. JTC offers a soft wash process that removes most of this algae to restore your roofs appearance.

What kind of ventilation can I use on my roof?

Good question! There are several good ventilation systems available. Our team members will evaluate you home and make recommendations to you.

Will you work with my insurance company to help me move forward with my roofing job?

Yes, we work with all major insurers.
